Horse riding lessons at Abby Road Farm are offered Monday through Sunday, year round. We have an indoor as well as an outdoor arena, so don’t let cold, rainy weather stop you from enjoying your “horsey fix!” Lesson time is “Stall door to stall door.” It includes grooming, tacking and untacking horse.

Friends and family are welcome to watch their child during the lesson. While watching, you can learn a lot about the sport as well. Our heated/air conditioned Viewing Room in the indoor arena, provides year-round comfort for you to watch your rider progress at this challenging, unique sport.

For riders ages 7 and older

1 one-hour lesson: $55
Package of 5 one-hour lessons: $250

Abby Road strives to create a safe environment.

*If you’re planning on riding a horse, you must wear jeans or jods.
*Jods are preferred. The jeans cannot have any rhinestones on them because they scratch the saddle.
*Barn appropriate shoes must be worn. If you’re planning on riding you must wear boots or a shoe with a heel. No tennis shoes.

My daughter, Sydney, has taken lessons at Abby Road with Sarah for the
past 2 years, riding saddle seat and hunt seat, and absolutely shines
when she is riding! Sydney had no desire to participate i n school
sports, but riding has helped her gain confidence and really works her
entire body in regard to health, so we consider this to be a great sport
where she is concerned. She loves the connection she has with the
various horses, especially Raven, and has found that riding reduces her
stress and anxiety where school is sometimes a concern. I highly
